I like to record my piano improvisations because it gives me more insight into what scales and progressions I want to use in the future. As time went on, my interest in my own piano playing diminished as my composed pieces became more complex.
Recordings · Time is too Fast (Recorded October 2005, length 2 Minutes 35 Seconds, with a Tape recorder.) · Unsure (Recorded January 2006, length 3 Minutes 24 Seconds, with an MP3 Player.) · Rain that Falls (Recorded October 5th 2006, length 2 Minutes 18 Seconds, with a Tape recorder.)
"Time is too Fast" was recorded while I was at McGill University in Montreal visiting a friend and seeing the city. I used a really nice piano that they had in the basement of the dorms. Originally I had the second song, "Unsure" listed as "Time is too Fast", but it was actually a file mixup. "Unsure" and "Rain that Falls" were both recorded at my friend Erik's house. I really like that piano, he is very lucky...
